June 6-7 road resurfacing on Hina Lani Street

June 6-7 the Department of Public Works Highway Maintenance Division plans to resurface Hina Lani Street.  The work will begin 100’ below the intersection at Highway 190, and continue for 2170’ ending near Hikimoe St and Kahakea Place.  Alternate lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Intermittent one-lane closures will begin June 4 at mm 8.9 in Hōlualoa

Repairs caused by the 2006 earthquake at mile markers 8.9 and 4.4 are nearing completion.  On June 4-14, Isemoto Contracting Company Ltd will resurface Māmalahoa Highway in Hōlualoa.  Roadwork is between the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. weekdays.  Completion is scheduled for June 14.

 Intermittent one-lane closures will begin June 4 and could take up to three days at mile marker 8.9, located near Palani Junction. The remaining days up to June 14 will be at mile marker 4.4 near Waiono Meadows.

This federal funded project also included retaining walls, swales, pavement markings, and guardrails.
